My favorite Niagara Parks attraction!

My wife and I did several attractions at Niagara Parks, obviously including seeing a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. But, honestly, the White Water Walk is still my favorite. It was so relaxing to disconnect and enjoy the river’s rapids while just walking, no special bells and whistles - just admiring the river’s raw strength.

Adam
A relaxing walk in beautiful nature!

The walk was super relaxing! The nature around us was beautiful! Perfect for nature lovers! The ticket is good for the entire day, which we really appreciated since we weren’t sure how long we would spend at Niagara Falls. We didn’t have to make any exact plans - we just showed up and started our walk after lunch and had a great time!

White Water Walk Niagara Falls Tickets

UNWIND AS YOU WALK DOWN THE WHITE WATER WALK

To get to the riverside, you’ll travel by elevator 70 meters down to the base of the Niagara Gorge. From there, step out onto the boardwalk, out into the crisp air and fresh breeze. Stroll down the walkway at your own pace, with consistently beautiful views of the rushing Niagara River, and allow all your worries to wash away with the river’s current.

EXPERIENCE THE STRENGTH OF THE NIAGARA RIVER

The White Water Walk is famous for its whitewater rapids; they’re ranked as Class 6, making them some of the wildest in North America. As you walk down the boardwalk, you’ll be next to the crashing water - the perfect vantage point for admiring the rushing waves. Along the way, step out onto various viewing platforms for even more powerful and beautiful views. There, the rapids reach speeds of 48 km/hr!

READ ALL ABOUT THE LOCAL ENVIRONMENT

As you walk down the boardwalk, there’ll be several informational signs along the way. Stop for a minute to read them and learn all about the geology, animal, and plant life of the Niagara Gorge. For example, did you know that its rock layers are over 410 million years old? Or that Niagara Gorge is an official “Globally Significant Important Bird Area”?

FINISH YOUR WALK FEELING REJUVENATED

Once you've experienced the power of the rapids up close, continue your Niagara journey with a completely different but equally unforgettable view, from the water. The legendary Maid of the Mist tickets take you by boat right into the mist at the base of the Falls. For a smooth and easy visit, be sure to book your Niagara Falls tickets online in advance. And if you're feeling hungry after the walk, nearby spots like Fork You (Peruvian cuisine) or Hi-Lite Restaurant are great places to grab a relaxed lunch.
