Some of the most beautiful nature I’ve ever seen

We bought these tickets to visit the American side of Niagara Falls, and the scenery was just gorgeous. My wife and I both stepped out on the Hurricane Deck while in the Cave of the Winds - the rushing water from above ahead, coupled with the view of the river, is just something else. Absolutely stunning!

Fun guide & no lines!

The nature was beautiful, and our guide made the tour really fun! He told us many stories about Niagara Falls and the stunts people pulled off here. The falls were beautiful, and we got a lot of cool photos. Also, we didn’t have to wait in line with this ticket, which was awesome!

DESCRIPTION

Cave of the Winds Niagara Falls Tickets

SEE THE SCENIC BEAUTY OF NIAGARA FALLS’ WATERFALLS

Your local guide will lead you through the Niagara Falls State Park, simultaneously showing you its waterworks and teaching its history. You’ll visit Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and American Falls - all powerful waterfalls with rushing water crashing into the lakes. These are the spots visited by tightrope walkers, rapid swimmers, and similar stuntmen, starting with Jean François "Blondin" Gravelet in 1859 - he crossed the Niagara Gorge on a tightrope!

VISIT THE MAJESTIC CAVE OF THE WINDS

After the Niagara Falls tour, you’ll experience the full force of Niagara Falls’ power in the Cave of the Winds! Take an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) down into the Niagara Gorge and stand at the base of Niagara Falls. From there, brave the Hurricane Deck: wooden walkways only 6 feet (20 meters) from the rushing waters of Bridal Veil Falls. You’ll get sprayed for sure, but the gorgeous views are worth it!

LEARN NIAGARA FALLS’ HISTORY IN THE WORLD CHANGED HERE PAVILION

The Cave of the Winds Niagara Falls Tickets include access to The World Changed Here Pavilion. There, you’ll read about Niagara Falls State Park’s history - including how Nikola Tesla harnessed the Falls’ power to create alternating currents! There are also photos showing what Niagara Falls looked like before it became a state park.

RELAX AFTER SEEING THE SIGHTS

Why not get something to eat after your visit? The Cave of the Winds has a snack bar for a quick break, or you can enjoy a full meal at the Top of the Falls Restaurant, with great views of the waterfalls. You can also visit more nearby attractions. Use your Butterfly Conservatory tickets to see thousands of butterflies in a peaceful indoor garden. Take a walk along the river with White Water Walk tickets, right next to some of the most powerful rapids in North America. Or book your Maid of the Mist tickets and enjoy a boat ride close to the base of the falls. There’s always more to see and do around Niagara Falls.

Did you know that the Cave of the Winds isn’t actually a cave?

In 1834, two students discovered an overhang that made a small cave behind Niagara Falls - the Cave of the Winds. As time passed, the bottom of the overhang began collapsing, and in 1920, a larger section fell down. Although today there is no more cave, the initial name Cave of the Winds remains.
